Artist's Comments

I finally made some brushes of my own. Yay!
I don't think they're very useful, but I had fun with them.

If you use them, link me back to your work, I'd love to see it! =)

People may not remember what you said or what you didn't, but they will always remember the way you made them feel..

If you have time visit my gallery and leave a messege

I glad you like it, even though you can't use them =)

I disagree. They're positively charming!

Oi Lazy, os brushes dão na versão 7?
Gosto dos ditos. :)

:iconlazy-cat:
Why, thank you =) I'm so glad people are liking this!

But... they can be charming, and cute, and awesome, and all that... but are they *useful*? Cause that's what really matters, I think. ;)

Se não der avisa. Eu envio-te isso em .jpg, e fazes tu o set de brushes a partir daí. ;)

I tend to think so, yes. I've downloaded them based on that presumption, actually. :D

Would it help to know how I personally thought of using them? There are a couple, actually.

The very -first- thing I thought of when I noticed them is that they would make for a lovely design on a fabric ribbon. I create textures for work in 3d, both in the hobby market, as well as for use in games. One of the ways I might use something like this is as a base pattern upon which to build a photo realistic ribbon made of fabric that I've generated or created by hand.

Another way they could be useful to someone such as myself, would be as an area of interest on an otherwise ';plain' texture. A whimsical decoration carved or painted on to a baseboard in a child's room, for example. Or on a shade of a lamp in the same room to tie visual elements together.

There are more, of course, but rather than bore you to death with a full list, I thought that a quick rundown might help you see your work in a different light, for it is in fact very lovely and well done. :)
